Haha, this game makes me want to homicide. Miss a jump with the poor mechanics? No worries, start over. I'm going to give this game to everyone I hate.. i bought this about 3 years ago and it was a waste of money. Wow, what can I not say about this game? Truly a THRILL-FILLED-RIDE the entire way.I've heard this game been described as "LINEAR" and "DULL" but what I think those users meant to say was, "WINEAR (referring to the wonderful sound track that wistfully plays to ANYONE who plays this wonderful game), and "FULL of fantastic decisions that interweave into a larger narrative." which are all SUPER GOOD NICE COMMENTS packed with authenticity.This game deserves as much praise as possible and heck, I even nominated this for an award. The details on the model are FANTASTIC. Take a look at the character's clothing - it's realistic, minimal, and the blue really matches the fur of Jumpix (the main protagonist). Trust me, you will LOVE this game - and if you don't then cool, go find some crayons to munch on. Jumpix is a fine-wine of a video game - it's the foreign film of interactive entertainment, and in fact, it's the best videogame of the past 3 years. One criticism I have of this game is that I can't find the answer to the 17th puzzle (outside Margaret's house on stage 7), if anyone knows the code please message me in private.I recommend waiting for after the sales to purchase the game at full price, as it's the only way of atoning for the act of possessing this game. EDIT: I realise I do not actually have any criticism for this game, the devs created a puzzle that is essentially unable to be solved by man at this current state of evolution. Regardless, here's hoping this game gets completed in our lifetime! Hopefully we get to experience this game vicariously through someone capable of solving the puzzle in the future.TL;DR: Don't do it.. I have come back to this game to say that it is amazing and you should not be put off by the negative reviews. They are just really bad at platforming games.. This is more fun than my job.. Level 2 was a pain and level 3... don't even get me started on level 3. This game makes Sonic 06 look like Gold. I'm not even joking, I'm dead serious. Ugh, curiosity, why must you exist at times like these. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, I repeat, DO... NOT... BUY... THIS... GAME..... I don't care if you want to play it to see how bad it is. It's not even worth it for that. Trust me, It's for your own good. Not even the Devil would want this game. I just hope I can get a refund somehow.... fart smell good lol. Poor mechanics, glitches, framerate issues, and a wildly inconsistent art style that just does not work well at all. Jumpix looks absurd, like he's from a different game than his surroundings. Your character's short and frustratingly difficult to handle jumping is at odds with the level design, which requires you to make lots of little leaps between platforms. Little leaps that I found myself frequently missing and having to start over not because I stuck at platformers but because these gameplay mechanics barely work. Jumpix Jump is extremely barebones. Sorry guys but it's a no from me.
